Appreciated and enjoyed the lightly scented and enviro-friendly shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body cream that were all in refillable bottles, not tiny disposable bottles. We chose Double Tree because we preferred a hotel over sharing accommodations or renting someone's bedroom or apartment (the latter being one of the causes that is driving housing prices up) and because Double Tree was not that far of a walk, about 20 minutes or so, from Via Rail / Union Station and the CN Tower, Aquarium, and the marina.

I've stayed at this location several times since I visit friends in town. I find the hotel staff are always friendly and pleasant. The cookie is a bonus lol. The rooms always feel clean in that the sheets are new, and the carpet is clean and there's a nice scent in the room. I'm not sure if they changed the mattresses recently but I found them to be really firm and comfortable. I slept like a log, lol.

I was given a nice warm welcome cookie and processed very quickly. I love the gym, pool and sauna. Lovely smelling shower products and the room decaffeinated coffee was delish! All staff are helpful and cheerful.

Most of them are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transit. The service is courteous and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was fairly comfortable.
